Stars helped light up golf career
SERVING as practice partner to the greatest golfer in the world and playing rounds with movie stars on one of Britain’s best courses. These are things that 12-year-old Adrian Sadler would never have dreamed of as he hit balls in a field on the North Norfolk coast.
Raj committed to making golf club a welcoming venue.
NEW Whittington Heath Golf Club head professional Mike Raj believes the future can be just as bright as the past at the Tamworth Road course. Raj has taken over as pro at the course from Adrian Sadler, who retired at the end of 2009 after 44 years at the club. And though there will be a few slight tweaks off the course, Raj says he is committed to making the club as friendly and as welcoming as ever.
Welcome to Whittington Heath Golf Club which is one of the oldest in England and has been described by Martin Hawtree as “Classic golfing country"
